• Contact information — name, email address, telephone number, when you make an enquiry or booking.
• Booking information — service preferences, appointment dates, stylist requests, hair history notes where relevant.
• Communication records — messages sent via our contact form, WhatsApp or email.
• Website usage data — pages visited, time on site, referral source, via Google Analytics 4 (anonymised where possible).

We do not collect payment card data directly. Booking payments are processed by our third-party booking platform (Slick/Fresha) under their own privacy terms.

• Confirm and manage your appointments
• Respond to your enquiries
• Send appointment reminders and follow-ups where you have consented
• Improve our website and services via anonymised analytics
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent. We do not sell your data to any third party.

4. Legal Basis

We process your data under the UK GDPR on the following bases: contract performance (to fulfil your booking), legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries and improve our services), and consent (for marketing communications and non-essential cookies).

5. How Long We Keep It

Booking records are retained for up to 3 years to support repeat client service. Enquiry data is deleted after 12 months if no booking follows. Website analytics data is retained for 14 months via Google Analytics 4 default settings.

6. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data, request correction, request deletion, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@orelhairandbeauty.com. We will respond within 30 days.
